Please be advised that our computers are currently down. 

Any documents presented for recording will be reviewed and accepted in the order in which they are received and, upon restoration of our recording capabilities, will be recorded in the same order in which they were received. 

We will notify you when your documents have been recorded.  Please let us know if you need your documents returned by mail.

Electronic recordings will not be accepted until further notice.

A log of all recordings will be kept for your review.

CONSUMER NOTIFICATION SERVICE

William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth and Patricia M. Harris, Berkshire Middle District Register of Deeds have implemented the Consumer Notification Service program.  The Consumer Notification Service offers the ability for consumers to submit their names or business names to be monitored for potential fraudulent activity by receipt of a notification from the Registry of Deeds whenever a document containing submitted names is recorded.
